One Hundred and One Dalmations (1961)

The intro scene with its charming hand-drawn animation and warm voice-over narration that turns out to be the dog and not the man is a great beginning, and sets the tone for what is an overwhelmingly cozy and satisfying film. The entire cast of characters–from the manically evil Cruella De Vil to the absent-minded pipe-puffing Roger, and all the animals and henchman in between–are all wonderfully memorable, and the exciting storyline sets it apart from other similarly endowed Disney classics.
7.5/10 (Really Good)
